A downloadable game for Windows

Fetch Frenzy

This game is based around the player dog running around the screen catching Tennis Balls. The Tennis Balls are worth more points the higher up the screen and the more you catch in a row. If you miss a ball the player resets and Tennis Ball point value is set back to its base  points. At any time you have a Zoomies bar that will give you a speed boost to help with catching Tennis Balls on the opposite end of the screen. Every Tennis Ball will give you a bit of Zoomies back.

Recent updates:

Nothing at this time.

Future updates:

There is no plans for any future updates at this time as it was a beginner project using Pygame.

Creator's experience:

After completing my first game called Feed The Cat. I wanted to work on a bit harder project with a working Main menu that you could navigate through. This is also a heave function built game and it allowed me to go from page to page. There is still a lot I would like to do in the future like having working buttons and use the mouse. I want to add the ability to change the screen size and sound volume. I also want to learn more about classes and getting better with Pygames built in music mixer for my pause pages to keep my music place. I would also like to learn more about sprites and making player animation instead of my assets being static. I had a lot of fun making this game and I learned a bunch more that I knew in my first game. I am excited to take on my next project.

Notes:

If you have any suggestions, questions or errors you encounter in the game, comment them below and I will work on getting anything adjusted asap.  Thank you for playing :)
