Tactical Foothills

This is a text based 3 level map crawler. You will be turn based style fighting enemies while collecting gold. You will be searching the map looking for towns that will have a shop and a major to give you the key to the next level if your strong enough. Enemies will become harder and strong as you progress through the game.

Recent updates: 

I just finished adding color to the text in the game. I also finished adding the rules to the main menu to help with how the game play works. 

Future updates:

I am working on an interactive map so the player can see where they are in the world. I also want to add Acii art for the enemies you will be fighting.  I want to also add some different attacks the player can chose from instead of just a static back and forth. 

Creator's experience:

This is my first game dev project. I still have a lot to learn but wanted to take on a very basic game style to understand more info about how game loops work and how this game was built around function oriented programming. I am excited to take on new and bigger projects as I start to learn more.
